CENA Trauma Nursing Program

The Trauma Nursing Program (TNP) builds upon your knowledge of the pathophysiology and epidemiology of common trauma conditions presenting to the Emergency Department, as well as providing the opportunity to improve clinical skills in key trauma related areas.

Pre-requisite:

Basic levels of competency in certain skills such as Basic Life Support and common monitoring equipment.

Suitable applicants include nurses providing emergency care to trauma patients in metropolitan and major regional hospitals. It is also suitable for nurses working in small rural and remote emergency facilities.

*NCCTRC will sponsor Northern Territory Government Department Health staff members working in the Northern Territory 50% of the TNP course cost.
