ARC Advanced Life Support Level 1

This one day Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) accredited Course, aims to teach the theory & practical skills to effectively manage cardiopulmonary arrests, utilising the latest ARC guidelines.

Course content includes;

  • Causes & prevention of cardiac arrest
  • ALS Algorithm
  • Airway Management
  • The ABCD approach
  • Initial Resuscitation & Defibrillation

Pre-Requisite: Current Basic Life Support competent (evidence to be provided)

The certificate is valid for 4 years but you must complete an annual ARC refresher course to maintain competency.

Suitable Participants: defence, remote health professionals, emergency departments, intensive care, high dependency, coronary care, operating theatres & retrieval. Anyone who is not required to lead a resuscitation team but requires more advanced skills then Basic Life Support.

Northern Territory Government staff members: $170.00 pp incl. GST

non Northern Territory Government staff members: $300.00 pp incl. GST
