The ADF Clinical Program is an initiative of the National Critical Care and Trauma Response Centre (NCCTRC) and the Northern Territory Department of Health (DoH), The program is managed through the NCCTRC by the Australian Defence Force (ADF) Clinical Facilitator on behalf of the Chief Executive of Health.
The program is designed to enable all ADF Health clinicians to maintain clinical currency and skills to be operationally deployable. Clinical blocks are offered for all health disciplines including medicine, nursing, allied health, environmental health and dental through DoH facilities across the Northern Territory. Additionally ADF members have the opportunity to participate in the broad range of education and training sessions offered by the NCCTRC
