ARC Advanced Life Support Level 2 Recertification Course NT0108

This is a one-day Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Advanced Life Support (ALS) course for registered health professionals wanting to refresh their theoretical and practical ALS skills, and who hold a current ARC ALS2 certificate.

It is recommended to practice CPR prior to attending this course, as well as reading the current ARC ALS Manual.

Candidates are required to complete a pre-course MCQ.

PRE-REQUISITE: 

A copy of your current ARC ALS2 Certificate must be emailed to the NCCTRC Administration at the time of registering an expression of interest, email: admin.ncctrc@nt.gov.au  

(If your ARC ASL2 certificate has expired, you will have to attend the 2-day ARC ALS2 provider course)

COURSE CONTENT INCLUDES:

  • Reviewing the current ARC ALS protocols and guidelines
  • Practical sessions on airway management, initial assessment & resuscitation, and cardiac arrests in special circumstances
  • Practical simulation assessment and written exam.
