ARC ADVANCED LIFE SUPPORT LEVEL 1 COURSE NT0002

This one day Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) accredited Course, aims to teach the theory & practical skills to effectively manage cardiopulmonary arrests, utilising the latest ARC guidelines.

Course content includes;

  • Causes & prevention of cardiac arrest
  • ALS Algorithm
  • Airway Management
  • The ABCD approach
  • Initial Resuscitation & Defibrillation

Pre-Requisite: 

Current Basic Life Support competent (evidence to be provided)

On succssful completion, the participant receives a certificate valid for 4 years however it is an ARC recommendation that skills are updated at least annually.

Suitable Participants:

Defence, remote health professionals, emergency departments, intensive care, high dependency, coronary care, operating theatres & retrieval. Anyone who is not required to lead a resuscitation team but requires more advanced skills then Basic Life Support.

Northern Territory Government staff members: $180.00 pp incl. GST

non Northern Territory Government staff members: $290.00 pp incl. GST
